数据摘要

This dataset exhibits the spatiotemporal variation of Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS) supraglacial drainage system from 2017 to 2021, with a spatial resolution of 10 m and a temporal resolution of 1 year. The dataset type is integer raster, where the raster value 1 represents the supraglacial drainage system, and 0 represents the rest. The format of this dataset is GeoTIFF, and the total data volume is 3272.9 MB. This dataset is derived from Sentinel-2 satellite images using multi-scale remote sensing information extraction method. The overall accuracy of this dataset is higher than 85%, compared with manual interpretation. This dataset reflects the potential of mid and high resolution satellite remote sensing images in GrIS hydrological researches, and improves the understandings of key hydrological processes such as surface meltwater transport and storage.

数据生成过程描述:
Greenland ice water system includes ice lakes, ice rivers and water injection ice fissures, with significant differences in various characteristics. In this report, 747 Sentinel-2 MSI satellite remote sensing images (10 m spatial resolution) are used to extract the ice surface water system using multi spatial scale remote sensing information extraction method.
数据质量信息:
This data is remote sensing information of Greenland ice water system extracted from Sentinel-2 image. In the randomly selected verification area, the accuracy of the information product is evaluated by using the results of manual visual interpretation. The results show that the overall mapping accuracy of Greenland ice water system products is better than 85%.
